ExpatPilot UAE is a platform operated by ExpatPilot (registered in the Netherlands, KVK 86009613) providing AI-powered guidance and tools for expatriates living and working in Dubai, Abu Dhabi, and the wider UAE. By accessing expatpilot.ae (or expatpilot.nl/uae), you agree to these Terms & Conditions.

All content, AI-generated answers, guides, calculators, and tools on ExpatPilot UAE are for general informational purposes only. This platform does not:

• Provide legal advice, immigration advice, or visa assistance
• Provide financial, tax, or investment advice
• Act as a licensed UAE PRO (Public Relations Officer) service
• Provide medical or health insurance advice
• Replace consultation with a UAE-licensed professional

ExpatPilot UAE is not a law firm, immigration consultancy, PRO service, or regulated financial advisor. For matters affecting your visa status, employment, property, business, or legal rights in the UAE, you must consult a qualified professional licensed in the UAE.

Responses from Ask ExpatPilot UAE are generated by an AI system (Anthropic Claude) based on our knowledge base and general training data. AI responses:

• Attempt to reverse-engineer, scrape, or systematically extract our content or knowledge base
• Use the platform to generate content that harasses, defames, or harms any individual or organisation
• Attempt to probe or exploit security vulnerabilities in the platform
• Share login credentials or use the platform on behalf of others without their consent

ExpatPilot UAE is provided on an "as available" basis. We do not guarantee uninterrupted access. The platform may be unavailable during maintenance, updates, or due to infrastructure issues beyond our control (Vercel, Supabase, or Anthropic outages). We are not liable for any loss arising from service interruptions.

Basic access to ExpatPilot UAE is free during the beta period. Future paid features will be clearly labelled. Billing terms, refund policies, and pricing will be specified at the point of purchase when paid features are introduced. Consumer protection rights under UAE Federal Law No. 15 of 2020 on Consumer Protection apply to any paid transactions.

All original content, tools, guides, and platform code are the intellectual property of ExpatPilot. You may not reproduce, republish, or commercially exploit content from ExpatPilot UAE without written permission. Links to official UAE government sources and third-party resources are provided for your convenience and are the intellectual property of their respective owners.

To the maximum extent permitted under UAE law, ExpatPilot shall not be liable for any direct, indirect, incidental, or consequential loss or damage arising from:

• Reliance on AI-generated answers or platform content without independent verification
• Changes to UAE law, visa policies, or government procedures that occur after our content was last updated
• Service interruptions or technical failures
• Decisions made based on information from this platform without consulting a qualified professional

Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot lawfully be excluded under UAE consumer protection law.

We may update these terms as the platform evolves or as UAE law changes. We will notify registered users of material changes by email. Continued use after notification constitutes acceptance of the updated terms.

These Terms are governed by the laws of the United Arab Emirates. For users based in the UAE, disputes are subject to the jurisdiction of UAE courts. ExpatPilot's entity is registered in the Netherlands and also operates under Dutch law for matters relating to the company itself.
